Terms of Service
The rules for using Munch Manager to plan meals, manage recipes, and collaborate with your group.
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using Munch Manager, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the app for a household, family, team, or other group, you are responsible for making sure the people you invite understand these terms.
Munch Manager is a meal planning and recipe management tool. It is not a medical, nutrition, allergy, or food safety advisory service.
2. Accounts and access
You sign in through Clerk using supported identity providers such as Google. You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure.
Access may require approval by an administrator. We may suspend or remove access if the app is misused, if security is at risk, or if these terms are breached.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Munch Manager. If you are not old enough under applicable law to enter into this agreement, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms and supervise your use.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of recipes, ingredients, pantry entries, shopping lists, photos, notes, and other content you add to Munch Manager.
You give Munch Manager the limited permission needed to store, process, display, sync, back up, translate, analyze, and share your content inside the app so the service can work for you and the groups you join.
4. Group collaboration and public recipes
Content in a group can be visible to other members of that group. Only invite people you trust to see and edit shared planning information.
If you mark a recipe as public, anyone on the internet may view and share it, and Munch Manager users may copy it. Public recipe pages may appear in search engines. Do not publish content you do not have the right to share.
5. AI and imported content
Some features may use AI services to import recipes, scan pantry photos, translate recipe content, or suggest meals. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed before use.
AI features are subject to a fair-use allowance. Trial allowances apply for the lifetime of both the user and household. Paid and complimentary household allowances reset monthly in UTC. We may pause AI features when an allowance or provider safety cap is reached while keeping non-AI features available according to your subscription.
When you import recipes from websites or other sources, you are responsible for respecting copyright, database rights, and source terms.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Eligible users may receive one 30-day free trial per email address. A household's trial window begins when its eligible owner starts the trial. People who join that household receive only the time remaining in its existing trial window and do not restart or extend it. No payment method is required for the trial.
Munch Manager costs €4.99 per month or €49.99 per year. Displayed prices include applicable VAT. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel before renewal. Stripe shows the total price and renewal terms before payment.
A paid subscription covers one household and is managed by its billing owner. A household includes up to three members by default. The owner may request an increase, subject to approval, up to a maximum of six members.
You can cancel at any time in Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
We do not provide automatic prorated refunds for unused time. Contact support for billing errors or exceptional cases. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
EU consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right. We will not limit that right unless applicable law permits it and you have given the required express consent and acknowledgement before immediate access begins.
Munch Manager has no free tier after the trial. When a trial expires or paid access ends, including after cancellation or payment failure, access to the main app is blocked. Billing, account settings, personal data export, and account deletion remain available.
7. Virtual items
Crumbs, cosmetics, achievements, and other Munchie items are virtual app features. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not refundable.
We may change, rebalance, or reset virtual items or balances to operate the service, prevent abuse, or update features. Virtual items cannot currently be purchased with real money.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Munch Manager, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content, scrape private data, or use the app in a way that harms other users.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Munch Manager reliable, but the service may be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, third-party provider issues, or events outside our control.
Features may change over time. We may update these terms when the service changes or legal requirements evolve. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Munch Manager is provided as is and as available. We are not liable for indirect losses, missed meals, incorrect recipe scaling, inaccurate AI output, or reliance on nutrition, allergen, expiry, or food safety information shown in the app.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
